1. Application 
 
These conditions apply whether a contract has been made verbally or in 
writing. 
The hirer acts on behalf of all the passengers travelling on the 
vehicles. If the hirer is a company, group, or partnership, an 
individual must be named as a responsible person. The hirer is 
responsible for the actions and decisions of all the Passengers on 
board including any additional costs incurred in performing the 
contract, whether or not they actually travel with the party. 
Where a copy of these conditions has been given to the hirer at any 
time, or the hirer has been advised verbally of all significant terms, 
making a booking will be deemed to signify acceptance of them. Where a 
hirer makes a booking before receiving these conditions and without 
being advised verbally of all significant terms, the hirer may cancel 
the contract without liability to the operator within 48 hours of 
receiving these conditions. Otherwise the hirer will be deemed to 
accept these conditions. 
We reserve the right to change or amend these terms and conditions 
without prior notification and you should check whether they are up to 
date. The company reserves the right to cancel any booking on refund of 
any payment made.
2. Quotations 
 
Quotations are given on the basis of the direct route and on 
information provided by the hirer. The route used will be at the 
discretion of the company unless it has been particularly specified by 
the hirer in which case it will be clearly shown on the confirmation. 
All quotations are given subject to the company having available a 
suitable vehicle at the time the hirer accepts the quotation. 
Quotations are valid for 28 days unless otherwise notified. 
3. Use of the Vehicle
Personal Property
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that when they leave the 
vehicle they take with them any persona; property, the company or 
employees will not accept liability for any item lost howsoever caused.
Health and Safety
The health, safety and comfort of our passengers are of paramount 
importance and therefore you must abide by the law and use the 
seatbelts provided. You should follow directions and requests from the 
driver or other employee of the company in relation to passenger 
safety. You should use the emergency exits or equipment provided in the 
event of an emergency. You must not leave your seat nor distract the 
driver whilst the vehicle is in motion.
Alcohol and Food
Various laws are in force which prohibits the carriage and use of 
alcohol on public service vehicles. It is company policy that no 
alcohol, for consumption on the vehicle, is permitted onto the vehicle.
It is also company policy that no food, for consumption on the 
vehicle, is permitted onto the vehicle.
Smoking
The company has a strict NO SMOKING policy on all of our vehicles.
4. Route and Time Variation
General Charges
The company reserves the right to levy additional charges for 
additional mileage or time to that agreed.  Waiting time is billed at: 
first 15 minutes free thereafter £35 per hour or part thereof. 
The vehicle will depart at times agreed by the hirer, and it is the 
responsibility of the hirer to account for all passengers at those 
times. The company will not accept liability for any losses incurred by 
passengers who fail to follow instructions given by the hirer. 
Unless the vehicle is staying with the passengers, the driver will 
return at the pre-scheduled time and place and wait for up to 45 
minutes. After that time, if no communication has been received from 
the hirer, the driver will assume the return trip has been cancelled 
and return to base. No refunds will be given in the event that you fail 
to board the vehicle at the pre-scheduled time on either outbound or 
inbound journeys.
5. Seating Capacity 
The company will, at the time of booking, agree and specify the legal 
seating capacity of the vehicle to be supplied. The hirer must not load 
the vehicle beyond this capacity
Disclaimer
A & K Transport does not promise that the Site will be error-free, 
uninterrupted, nor that it will provide specific results from use of 
the site or any content, search or link on it. The site and its content 
are delivered on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. A & K Transport 
cannot ensure that pages or files you download from the site will be 
free of viruses or contamination or destructive features. A & K 
Transport disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including also 
any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular 
purpose. A & K Transport will not be liable for any damages of any kind 
arising from the use of this site, including without limitation, 
direct, indirect, incidental, and punitive and consequential damages. A 
& K Transport makes no guarantee of any specific result from use of

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Any quoted pick up or journey time are best estimates only Whilst it 
uses all reasonable efforts to convey passenger's to their 
destinations in the Shortest Possible time A & K Transport shall have 
no liability if the pick up and journey time exceeds any estimate given 
or otherwise exceeds the Clients or the passenger's expectations for 
whatever reason nor shall A & K Transport have any other liability to 
the Client of the passenger's in connection with the time at which the 
passengers) reach or fail to reach the destination
A & K Transport shall have no liability for any damage. loss costs, 
claims or expenses (whether foreseeable or not) incurred or suffered by 
the Client or the passenger's (other than in respect of death or 
personal injury) by virtue of eventualities or  occurrences, acts or 
omissions Including on the part of the driver outside Of the reasonable 
Control of A & K Transport.
It shall be for the Client and or the Passenger's to ensure that 
valuable, unusual or any other items are covered by appropriate 
Insurance A & K Transport cannot entertain any claim for loss of or 
damage to items but upon proof of value may make ex gratia payment not 
exceeding in total £10.00 in respect of any one hiring.
If A & K Transport cancels a booking, it shall have no liability to 
the Client or to the intended passenger's if it has used its 
reasonable endeavours to fulfil the booking and to notify the Client of 
the cancellation
Any claim or complaint shall be notified by the Client-to A & K 
Transport within one month of the date of the assignment or if later, 
the first date on which the Client became aware of (Or if sooner should 
have been aware of) the matter.
In the event of a cancellation by the client less than 5 hours before 
the time booked A & Transport may at its discretion Charge a 
cancellation fee of not less than £25.
Where a booking has been agreed and a vehicle has been despatched and 
then either cancelled or the customers have failed to utilise the 
service then the whole of the cost of the journey plus any waiting time 
that may have occurred will be due.
All quotes are valid for one month.
Where the actual journey differs from this confirmation then the cost 
will be based on the mileage travelled or hourly rate whichever is the 
higher.
Should a passenger feel sick and fail to ask the driver to slop in 
time. There is a set charge of £50 to clean and valet the bus.
In the event that a Passenger causes deliberate or malicious damage to 
the vehicle the hirer is responsible for the cost of repairs.

Agreed Price, Deposits, Cancellations, Balances and General.
Agreed Price
The Agreed Price is the amount agreed between A & K Transport and you 
The Customer, based on and is limited to the instructions given as set 
out in the Requirements area overleaf. Changes following on from this 
booking that you may like to make will be subject to our ability to 
accommodate those changes and may be subject to further cost's.
Deposits
All bookings made are confirmed by an advance deposit. The minimum 
advance deposit is dependent upon the vehicle required and ranges from 
£30 - £100.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking by The Customer, 
the deposit paid is non-refundable or 50% of the agreed price is 
payable to A & K Transport, whichever is greater. Should The Customer 
cancel within 7 days of the date of travel, The Customer will be 
charged 100% of the balance owed which is due within 5 working days.
Balance
All Balances due must be paid in full before requirements commence, 
unless stated otherwise overleaf. You may pay in advance by mailing a 
cheque for the balance due allowing enough time (minimum 7 days) for 
the cheque to be cleared to ensure cleared funds are deposited to our 
account prior to the requirements being fulfilled.
Grace Period
A & K Transport will endeavour to be at all pick-up point's in 
advance of the time's agreed. However, there may be causes out of our 
control that may from time to time prevent us from meeting these 
commitments, such as; inclement weather, road traffic accidents, road 
resurfacing etc. Therefore you agree to allow a period of up to 30 
minutes grace. If a grace period is invoked in whole or part, the time 
of adjusted time's will be made up during or after the period of hire, 
schedules permitting. The Driver will drive at reasonable speeds 
keeping within the law, and will use their judgment in relation to the 
prevailing road type and conditions. A & K Transport accepts no 
responsibility nor can it be held liable in any way whatsoever for any 
delays howsoever caused.
Damages
Damages and subsequent cost's of repair's of such damage's to the 
vehicle hired as used by you The Customer and/or your guests howsoever 
caused is your responsibility. Additionally, in the event that one of 
the parties is sick in the vehicle we will charge £50 to £100 depending 
on vehicle hired; to make good the vehicle. We will invoice you The 
Customer directly and should the additional payment's not be made on 
the day or night, it is payable in full within 5 working days. Alcohol 
is not permitted at any time in any of our vehicles, failure to comply 
with this rule will be the journey will be terminated in full and no 
refund will be offered.
Overtime
Overtime charges begin immediately following the end of pre-agreed A & 
K Transport contract end time as set out overleaf titled Requirements 
End. Under this agreement the overtime rate per hour or part thereof 
shall be as that as is noted overleaf titled Vehicle Overtime Rate.
Lost Property
A & K Transport takes every care to keep you The Customer and your 
property safe. We cannot, however, under any circumstances take 
responsibility for property lost or left or assumed left at any time in 
the vehicle's. Make sure that you check and remove all personal 
property - yours and your guest's - from the vehicle's whenever you 
are dropped off, including interim drop's. In the event any property 
is found by us and returned to the depot it is you, The Customer's 
responsibility to recover the said property from us and any costs of 
doing so are yours and yours alone.
Breakdown
A & K Transport makes every effort to maintain its vehicle's as often 
and as thoroughly as it possibly can and has therefore made all 
reasonable efforts to ensure that the vehicle's are in the best and 
most reliable condition and are thereby fit for the purpose of use. In 
such event should a mechanical breakdown occur outside its control, A & 
K Transport cannot therefore be held responsible for mechanical 
breakdown nor for the impact that those unforeseen event's might then 
or thereafter have. In the event of mechanical failure, due to 
circumstances beyond our control if the vehicle requested cannot be 
provided either for the first, the final or other interim journeys 
booked, we reserve the right to provide substitute vehicle's of equal 
or similar standing and capacity.
General
A & K Transport operates a strict 'NO SMOKING' policy within their 
vehicle's. Should this condition be ignored the driver is authorized 
to terminate the hire agreement immediately and a refund will not be 
offered under any circumstances. The driver reserves the right to 
refuse the carriage of luggage if in his judgment the volume of weight 
is excessive. A & K Transport will not be held responsible for the use 
or transportation of any illegal substance or articles within their 
vehicle's. The hire agreement will be terminated immediately without 
refund if The Customer contravenes this condition. The Customer named 
overleaf will be held responsible for the conduct of all passengers in 
the vehicle's at all times. A & K Transport reserves the right to 
terminate any and all services to unruly or abusive passengers.
